According to experts like the specialists at the American College of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine, tuina (pronounced twee-nah) is one of the four major categories of traditional Chinese medicine, the other three being herbal medicine, qi gong, and acupuncture. While acupuncture remains to be the more popular TCM approach among enthusiasts, tuina massage is slowly gaining ground as another unconventional wellness method.
